GTA and SRO will hold a joint press conference on FIA GT3 vehicle BoP at the final round (11/16)

GTA, the governing body of SUPER GT, will hold a joint press conference with SRO Motorsports Groups (hereafter SRO) regarding the Balance of performance (BoP) of FIA GT3 vehicles applicable from 2015 in the morning of November 16^th, the race day of this season’s final round (Twin Ring Motegi).

SRO and GTA had been engaged in discussion regarding the BoP of FIA GT3 vehicles that compete in the SUPER GT GT300 class, and both parties have reached an agreement recently and going to conclude a contract on the subject.  At the press conference, GTA Chairman Masaaki Bandoh and SRO CEO Stephane Ratel will be present to give an explanation of the agreement and the contract will be signed by both parties.

SRO promotes Blancpain GT series of Europe, which various FIA GT3 vehicles participate, and the adjustment of performance from the series is set as the global standard.  In principle, the BoP is applied to the FIA GT3 vehicles in the SUPER GT GT300 class also.  With the agreement and contract, the situation in not only the European GT races but also in the GT300 class will be taken into account in the adjustment.
