After the announcement on May 4 to cancel the Autopolis event and consider for a replacement, an overview of the replacement event has been decided as below.
"2016 AUTOBACS SUPER GT Round 8 Motegi GT250km Race" (November 11-13), the final round of 2016 season, will be positioned as a Kumamoto Earthquake reconstruction supportive event and two races will be held during the event.
- Nov 11 (Fri) Practice sessions (Sessions with handicap weights for 7th and 8th participations are planned.)
- Nov 12 (Sat) Rd.3 replacement Qualifying/Race (7th participation handicap weight: Point x 1kg)
- Nov 13 (Sun) Rd.8 Qualifying/Race (8th participation handicap weight: None)
