The ZF Award for round 4 at SUGO has been granted to the No.61 R&D SPORT

The 2016 ZF Award is bestowed on mechanics who have displayed exemplary performance during the SUPER GTs race week. The awarded team for round 4 at SUGO was the GT300's #61 R&D SPORT.

They were granted the award because despite their car going off course and crashing at SP Corner during official practice, their hard work ensured it was ready for qualifying. An effort the drivers rewarded with an exemplary performance of their own to secure a 3rd place qualification. The entire team then went on to work late into the night and early in the morning on race day to work out any remaining kinks. It was this tireless effort that saw the team walk away with a 3rd place podium.

The next award will be decided at round 5, the “FUJI GT 300km RACE,” to be held over August 6th to 7th at Fuji Speedway.
