As the director in charge of ASAHI BREWERIES” non-alcohol beer, “Dry Zero”, Director Murao explained the purpose and the background behind becoming a SUPER GT sponsor, saying: “We had now become SUPER GT sponsors for the season, and we are glad to have this opportunity to do so in this landmark 30th year of the series. We are promoting “Dry Zero” with a theme of “Kimochi agaru shunkan ni” (“at the moment when the mood rises”), and when I was watching the last race of last year’s season, I felt the thrill the race, the uplifting mood of the racetrack and seeing the passionate race fans, I felt that it was a world that fit perfectly with our brand is aiming for, and that is why we became a sponsor.” He went on to explain that they will be setting up booths at Rounds 2 to 5 of the season where fans can sample the product and, in the summer, they will add ice to the “Dry Zero” for the fans to try.

About this opportunity to welcome new partners, Chairman Bandoh expressed his gratitude by saying: “Together with these new partners we want to build a Win – Win relationship. And it will surely broaden our perspective.” He then went on to say: “If we can create opportunities to get more spectators to come here (to the circuit) and have them see the action, I think there will be more people who will want to give us their support (for racing).” And in conclusion he said: “I want us to create an environment that makes more people want to gather at the circuit and get satisfaction from what they see, and to hear them say that they want to see SUPER GT again. If we can do that, I believe we can give something in return to the people we build partnerships with. By working together in a free and easy atmosphere that everyone enjoys, I want to continue getting more people to get to know (SUPER GT) and to come to see it.”
