  • What a deluxe version of ceremony

    		 

    In the opening ceremony before the race on Sunday, just like the other day the Fuji Sprint Cup participating drivers and team staff gathered in one.

    With the appearance of the marching parade by the Self Defense Forces band, the mood and the atmosphere werereally uplifted!

    Following that, the national anthem was delivered by the "Fuji School Band" of the Self Defense Ground Force, Fuji Garrison.

     

    Next, all the cars of SUPER GT and Formula NIPPON were lined up on the grid.

    It is quite overwhelming to see all 50 cars lined up on the home-straight of Fuji Speedway!After the opening ceremony, "All Grid Walk" was held where the fans and drivers could make friendly exchanges. The GT500 class champion, MasatakaYanagida on No. 46 was greeting everyone relaxed and with smiles, only some hours before Race 2 starting around 3PM and where he is going to participate.
