As always the Legend Cup is filled with charming elements, drawing many laughs!
Tweet "ENEOS SUSTINA LEGEND CUP 2011" is indeed one of the true highlights of the Fuji Sprint Cup. Our hero drivers of all-times, - now even legendary – showed a very entertaining race again this time, each of them revealing their unique characters and personalities. During the race, there were "Funny" penalty orders addressed on the timing monitors, and here are some examples of them. (These photos are of the TV screens, so please excuse the quality)
"#36 and #82 have made jump-starts, but they will just go as is... Later they will be scolded." No. 36 NobuhideTachi and No. 82 Yojiro Terada are caught with a flying start. Oh well, as long as it wasn't any real accident at Start? (laugh)
"Penalty on #2 Tsuchiya, - to be fined to pay themechanical repair fees." Driver Tsuchiya on No. 2 took some damage on the machine due to a collision with No. 36 driven by Mr. Tachi. So here is the penalty that was issued. We wonder how much it's going to cost him!? The victory went to, Mr. Masahiro Hasemi who was celebrating his 66thBirthday on this day. Second place was won by Mr. Kunimitsu Takahashi, and 3rd- Mr. Satoru Nakajima. Well, a lot had happened but after all, wasn't it a very amusing race with each driver's unique, true characters fully demonstrated? After the race, in the event square at the back of the grandstand the 5 drivers who participated in the Legend Cup (in the photo, from the left –TomohikoTsutsumi, Kiyoshi Misaki, HaruhitoYanagida, Hideki Okada, and Takuya Kurosawa) gathered for a Talk Show. Some secret stories about the race, and topics from the past were fun to listen to. Thank you all for the great actions and the excitement!
