The series points will be totaled at the end of the August race(s). When this totaling is done, the points from the single race at which the lowest points were received (including the August race(s) will be discarded. At this totaling, the races for which the points are discarded may be different for the drivers and the teams. Best time points from the qualifying and races from a race where a driver or team was disqualified cannot be used and the disqualified race results cannot be discarded in the totaling of series points. A race from which a team withdrew voluntarily (did not register for entry) may be used as the race to discard from the total series points. However, if a team withdraws from a race after having registered its entry, the results from that race cannot be discarded from the series point total.

Driver points:

Points from the best laps in qualifying and race and race result points are given to both the drivers of a team.

Team points:

Race result points are given to a team only for the car of the registered race number that achieved the result. (Points are not transferable to other cars entered by the same team)

*Points will not be given for the "Qualifying" & "Fastest Lap in Race" time in the last race of the season.
