On October 3, 2019, the day before the start of the final round of the 2019 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) series to be held from October 4 to 6 at Hockenheim in Germany, three GT500 class SUPER GT racecars will make a proud appearance at Hockenheim. The three cars are the No. 1 Honda NSX-GT (TEAM KUNIMITSU/driver Jenson Button), the No. 35 NISSAN GT-R NISMO GT500 (NISMO/driver Tsugio Matsuda, Ronnie Quintarelli) and the No. 37 LEXUS LC500 (LEXUS TEAM KEEPER TOM’S/drivers Ryo Hirakawa, Nick Cassidy). These three cars participated in the test sessions held on Thursday, for one hour each in the morning and afternoon. They will then compete in the following day’s official Free Practice and then compete in the qualifying on Saturday the 5th and the race on Sunday the 6th.
