SUPER GT's operating body GTA Co., Ltd had continued with holding a regular press conference at each event again this season. GTA Chairman Masaaki Bandoh answered to representative questions raised by Japan Motorsport-journalist Society (JMS) as well as questions from other journalists at Twin Ring Motegi on November 2nd prior to the qualifying session of the season final Round 8 undertaking at the venue. The chairman shared his impression of this season and also commented on next season's calendar, which, he confirmed, includes Thai event. "We have been working on a negotiation with Buriram International Circuit, and we had reached a final agreement last Monday in Thailand. We will have a series event in Thailand (Buriram) on July 4th and 5th, 2020. And then Sepang Circuit in Malaysia in two weeks from there [7/17 (Fri) - 18 (Sat)]. In another words, next year there are going to be overseas series events back-to-back in July."
