The Okayama International Circuit Co., Ltd. and GTA Co., Ltd. have announced that as the result of discussions between the two companies, the decision has been made to postpone the “Takanokono Hotel OKAYAMA GT 300 km RACE” originally scheduled to be held on April 11 and 12 as Round 1 of the 2020 AUTOBACS SUPER GT series. In light of the Japanese government’s basic countermeasures regarding the spread of the new coronavirus, as well as the recent developments of the pandemic, this decision has been made with the intent of helping to prevent further spread of the virus and out of concern for the health and safety of the spectators coming to the event and the race competitors and related officials and personnel.
Concerning the future schedule of the race in light of its postponement, announcements will be made based on the status of the epidemic’s containment, etc.
Regarding details concerning refunds of the already purchased tickets for the event, they will be posted on Okayama International Circuit’s official website shown below.
