GTA Co., Ltd. announces that the 2020 AUTOBACS SUPER GT Round 4 in Thailand and 2020 AUTOBACS SUPER GT Round 5 in Malaysia will be postponed in lieu of the continued spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in Japan and Southeast Asia.
Also, with the postponement of the 2020 series Rounds 1 to 5 and the Official Tests at Fuji Speedway, the planned schedule changes for the 2020 series as of this time are as shown below. The re-scheduling of the rounds at Suzuka and in Thailand and Malaysia are now under consideration but plans still call for the holding of all eight rounds of this season.
Considerations of further changes to the schedule proposed below will continue to made with an eye on the progress of the COVID-19 pandemic and societal factors, and we will keep you informed as any changes occur.
We wish to extend our apologies to all the fans who were looking forward to these races and ask for your kind understanding in lieu of these unfortunate circumstances.
