Then car No. 2 also made an emergency pit stop on lap 11, thus bringing a big change in the order of the top group.
The intensity of the battle for the lead increased around lap 11 also. At the Panasonic (last) Corner of the 16th lap, Suganami in car No. 65 made a move and succeeded in passing car No. 11 at the TGR Corner of the 17th lap. Then car No. 52 followed suit.
The leading car No. 65 made its pit stop on the 24th lap. The drivers were changed from Suganami to Naoya Gamou, and the decision was made to change only the left side tires, but the change of the left rear tire took more time than usual. While this action going on behind it, the No. 52 SAITAMATOYOPETGB GR Supra GT (Hiroki Yoshida/Kohta Kawaai) ran on to take the checkered flag and the win after completing 62 laps.
