On December 28, 2022, GTA Co., Ltd. announced that a change has been made in the 2023 SUPER GT series calendar released on August 8, 2022.
The change in the calendar involves Round 6 and Round 7 of the 2023 series, originally scheduled to take place on September 9th and 10th at Sportsland SUGO and on September 30th and October 1st at Autopolis. With the calendar change, Round 6 at SUGO will now be held on September 16th (Sat: qualifying) and 17th (Sun: race) and Round 7 will be held on October 14th (Sat: qualifying) and 15th (Sun: race).
