Send-off event was held before GTA's regular press conference for Tosei Moriyama and Yuya Hiraki, driver and team manager of Helm Motorrsports, respectively, who will participate in the FIA MOTORSPORTS GAMES 2024 that will be held from October 23rd at Circuit Ricardo Tormo and surroundings in Valencia, Spain.
Moriyama is participating in the event in response to a request from JAF for sending a driver and will race representing Japan out of 25 participating countries. "I am very happy about getting selected (as a driver for FIA MOTORSPORTS GAMES 2024). I did a lot for preparation because this is the first worldwide event of formula racing. I only have win in my target, so I would appreciate your support". Despite the busy schedule with departure approaching the next day, Moriyama shared his highly raised aim and determination.
Team Manager Hiraki who will also travel along with Moriyama to Spain to provide support commented, "The level of FIA-F4 is quite high at everywhere around the world and it is a series where future professional drivers are competing. In fact, I believe the series in Japan is at very high level, so this (participation) would be a great opportunity to show the world how high that level is. I heard the event will be held every two years which means there will be more (of participations from Japan) in future, so I'm hoping this event can become a reference point that provides important information to the drivers who will be participating two years later. I would appreciate everyone's support". Hiraki promised to make it a battle beneficial to young drivers who will be challenging this global event in the near future.
"It's important (for young drivers) to become a driver who can compete evenly overseas and learn about motorsports by accumulating actual experiences (by participating in global events). I would like to ask the media to convey the news of their accomplishments". Masaaki Bandoh, the President and Chief Executive Officer of GTA Co., Ltd, gave inspiring pep talk to determined Moriyama and Team manager Hiraki.
