Official test Fuji was held at Fuji Speedway on March 29th (Sat) and 30th (Sun) while the opening of SUPER GT’s 2025-season approaches.
GTA has announced a change in the success weight rule of GT300 class as per the description below.

Maximum limit of success weight changed to 100kg in GT300, introducing Success refueling restrictor.

2025 SUPER GT Sporting Regulations
Art. 23 Success weight
2. The upper limit of the success ballast as mentioned above 1) is of max. 100 kg. Any excessive success ballast after this shall be exempt from loading, but shall still be accumulated to the total when exceeding this limit.

~partially omitted~

Regarding the GT300 Class cars, when the nominal success ballast has exceeded 50kg, the success ballast will also be controlled by regulating the refueling restrictor (hereafter Success refueling restrictor) diameter as follows.
1) Success refueling restrictor defined in this article must be attached at right under the automatic shut-off valve of the refueling device, that is compliant to Art. 28 Fuel, in addition to the fuel flow restrictor specified by BoP. GTA will provide Success refueling restrictor that is already assembled with coupler, and any change or modification to Success refueling restrictor is strictly prohibited.
2) Success refueling restrictor must receive a seal by GTA after it is attached to the refueling device.
3) Diameter of Success refueling restrictor that is applicable based on the success weight imposed will be determined based on the diameter of fuel flow restrictor specified by BoP of each car and officially announced by a SUPER GT Race Bulletin.
4) Success refueling restrictor will not be included in the minimum length of refueling hose defined by Art. 28 Fuel.

・Maximum limit of success weight that was revised last season is now unified to 100kg for both classes.
・In the GT300 class, a car which the success weight ballast it loads exceeded 50kg will be imposed of a success weight that is determined after an adjustment is made on the diameter of refueling restrictor instead of addition of ballast. In another words, the same adjustment that was supposed to be made by success weight will be achieved through changes in the time taken for refueling during the pit stop.
・The control by refueling restrictor will be called “Success refueling restrictor”, which will be officially announced by the bulletin.
