HARO Sports & Entertainment Sdn.Bhd.（以下HARO Sports）と株式会社GTアソシエイション（以下GTA）は、本日2026 AUTOBACS SUPER GT Rd.3 MALAYSIA GT 300km RACE driven by TOYOTA GAZOO RACINGを延期する事を発表いたしました。

この決定は、中東情勢の悪化や不確実な状況を含め、現在の世界情勢を総合的に評価した結果によるものです。こうした状況は運営面及び物流面において重大な課題をもたらしています。マレーシア大会はSUPER GTのカレンダーにおいて、日本以外で開催される唯一のイベントであるため、こうした状況の変化はイベントの計画および実施に不釣合いな影響を及ぼしています。

加えて、国際輸送費や航空運賃が大幅に上昇しており、これが大会関係者、ステークホルダー、そしてファンの皆様が期待する水準でのイベント開催にさらなる影響を及ぼしています。

この延期は一時的なものであり、HARO Sports とGTAの両社は、安全かつ安定した質の高いイベントを開催できる状況が整い次第、SUPER GTをマレーシアに再び招致するという決意を改めて表明いたします。

POSTPONEMENT OF THE 2026 AUTOBACS SUPER GT Rd.3 MALAYSIA GT 300km RACE driven by TOYOTA GAZOO RACING

GTA Co. Ltd. and HARO Sports & Entertainment. Sdn.Bhd.today announced the postponement of the “2026 AUTOBACS SUPER GT Round 3 Malaysia GT 300km Race driven by TOYOTA GAZOO RACING”.

The decision follows a comprehensive assessment of the current global environment, including the escalating and uncertain situation in the Middle East, which has introduced significant operational and logistical challenges. As the Malaysian round remains the only event outside of Japan on the SUPER GT calendar, these developments have had a disproportionate impact on the planning and delivery of the event.

In addition, there has been a substantial increase in international freight costs and air travel expenses, further affecting the feasibility of staging the event to the standards expected by the championship, its stakeholders, and fans.

“Firstly, our prayers are with all those impacted by the current crisis in the Middle East. We pray for a peaceful and amicable resolution.” said HARO Sports & Entertainment Managing Partner Fahrizal Hassan and GTA President, CEO Masaaki Bandoh.

“While this was not what we envisioned for the second year running of the Malaysian round, we would like to thank GTA, the teams and all valued stakeholders – our partners, sponsors, the media and especially all fans – for their strong support and understanding in these challenging times. The race will be back in Malaysia, and when it does, we are committed to making it twice as exciting!” said HARO Sports & Entertainment Managing Partner Fahrizal Hassan.

This was a difficult decision to make, but we would like to thank our Japanese fans, entrants, sponsors, and media for their understanding. The postponement is temporary, and both GTA and HARO Sports reaffirm their commitment to bringing SUPER GT back to Malaysia when conditions allow for a safe, stable, and high-quality event.
