GT500 Class

No.100 STANLEY HRC PRELUDE-GT
Naoki Yamamoto
“Of course my intention was to pass the leading car (No. 8) at the restart. Due to a big accident the Red Flag was shown (stopping the race). I heard that the drivers were not injured but it didn’t keep me from worrying. But since I didn’t think there would be many chances to take the lead, I decided to finish it off with one shot. I feel that everything went well for me.”

Tadasuke Makino
“(It was the first win for the PRELUDE-GT) I am very thankful for this (crying). First of all, I heard that the drivers were OK (I felt relieved), because that is the most important thing. After the race was restarted Yamamoto-san got the lead for us, and then it was just up to me to take advantage of that. This year I had some other races besides SUPER GT that didn’t go very well. That was hard for me, and it bore down on my heart (tears). But this year I was able to drive with Naoki (Yamamoto-san) and I am very happy about our win today (crying).

GT300 Class

No.52 Green Brave GR Supra GT
Hiroki Yoshida
“Since we got the win I would say it was “the greatest battle”, Shintaro (Kawabata in car No.45) fought a fair fight for us, so I was able to battle with confidence, and I feel grateful to have such a good rival to go against. This is our first win in some time, and there had been some races that we thought we could win but didn’t. More than anything, I believe we were able to win because we were driving with Seita(Nonaka). And nothing makes me happier than the fact that we were able to win today.

Seita Nonaka
“(It’s your first win isn’t it)Thank you very much. We didn’t have even one win since I came to this team that has won the championship title before…, so I was feeling the pressure because of that, so I am very happy that we finally won.”
