GTA Co., Ltd. (GTA) has announced its decision regarding the number of events for the 2026 SUPER GT Series, following the postponement of the 2026 AUTOBACS SUPER GT Round 3 MALAYSIA GT 300km RACE driven by TOYOTA GAZOO RACING, which was announced on April 8.
■ About the 2026 SUPER GT Series • The 2026 season will be held over seven rounds in Japan. • The Malaysia round, previously scheduled to be held during the period from 2025 to 2027, will be postponed to 2027 or later. • In light of the current global situation, including energy issues and geopolitical risks, no replacement event will be organized in Japan in conjunction with the postponement of the Malaysia round.
■2026 SUPER GT Series Calendar and Race Distance / Duration
*There will be no changes to the race distance or duration for each round. There will be no rule changes resulting from the reduction in the number of rounds.
