Regarding the Number of Rounds for the 2026 SUPER GT Series

GTA Co., Ltd. (GTA) has announced its decision regarding the number of events for the 2026 SUPER GT Series, following the postponement of the 2026 AUTOBACS SUPER GT Round 3 MALAYSIA GT 300km RACE driven by TOYOTA GAZOO RACING, which was announced on April 8.

 

■ About the 2026 SUPER GT Series
• The 2026 season will be held over seven rounds in Japan.
• The Malaysia round, previously scheduled to be held during the period from 2025 to 2027, will be postponed to 2027 or later.
• In light of the current global situation, including energy issues and geopolitical risks, no replacement event will be organized in Japan in conjunction with the postponement of the Malaysia round.

Round 4 August 1–2 Fuji Speedway 300km
Round 5 August 22–23 Suzuka Circuit 300km
Round 6 September 19–20 Sportsland SUGO 300km
Round 7 October 17–18 Autopolis 3 Hours
Round 8 November 7–8 Mobility Resort Motegi 300km

*There will be no changes to the race distance or duration for each round.
There will be no rule changes resulting from the reduction in the number of rounds.
