On August 6th, 2020, GTA Co., Ltd announced the 2021 SUPER GT series schedule. The planned schedule for the coming 2021 season will feature a total of eight rounds.

A total of 8 series events are scheduled in the 2021 SUPER GT race calendar. 8 races consisting the 2021 series will be held at 6 domestic circuits and 2 overseas circuit. The opening round is scheduled for April 11th (race day) at Okayama International Circuit and the final round will be held on November 7th (race day) at Twin Ring Motegi.
Round 4 and 5 will be the overseas rounds in Thailand (Chang International Circuit) and Malaysia (Sepang International Circuit).
